First Team All EYBL performer Gary Trent Jr. has made his choice.

The 6-foot-5 Howard Pulley product chose Duke over Michigan State and UCLA, giving Duke a terrific start to their 2017 class.

Now starring at Prolific Prep (CA) after spending his previous three years at Apple Valley (MN), Trent gets his commitment out of the way early in his senior year.

Trent averaged 22.2 points per game for Pulley in the 2016 NIKE EYBL, fresh off leading the league in scoring as an underclassmen in 2015.

He joins a long line of EYBL products to commit to Duke, including Jayson Tatum (STL Eagles), Harry Giles (Team CP3), Marques Bolden (Nike Pro Skills), Matt Jones (Texas Titans), Jahlil Okafor (Mac Irvin) and Tyus Jones (Pulley).

Trent is the fourth member of Howard Pulley to commit in 2017, joining teammates Theo John (Marquette), Brad Davison (Wisconsin) and Isaac Johnson (Western Illinois).

Trent is the 13th player to commit to Duke in the ESPN Top 100 era, and the second to commit in 2017, joining Team United (NC) guard Alex O'Connell.
