Renard Suggs will go from being a Pronghorn to a Cougar after this Gillette College men’s basketball season.
Suggs, a 6-foot-3 sophomore from Woodbury, Minnesota, verbally committed to play his junior season at Washington State. The decision came on a visit to the school just weeks after a visit to another Division I school, Portland State.
As a freshman, Suggs built a reputation as a threat from behind the 3-point line, knocking down 103 during the season. That mark is 48 more than the second-best season performance in Gillette College history. Suggs also holds the record for most 3s in a game with eight.
