Tre Jones certainly got people's attention in his first game of the day in a matchup against Cal Supreme.  The Howard Pulley point guard was electric and virtually unstoppable on the court, as he got to his spots and executed.  He recorded 13 points at the half, and finished the game with an overall high of 38 points in another impressive performance with the Panthers.

This game got off to a really fast start, and it was all Howard Pulley.  They came out fired up from the jump, and really burned Cal Supreme in the blink of an eye. The Panthers went on an 8-0 run before Cal Supreme needed a timeout.  Things still wouldn't change much after that, and Howard Pulley extended the run to 16-0.

Cal Supreme seemingly didn't have the same energy, and they also missed open looks on the perimeter and couldn't convert early on. They didn't get the ball down low to Bol Bol much to start, as he only got about two touches and one or two shots in the opening 4 minutes of play.  Regardless, they just had a tough time scoring, as Howard Pulley was stingy on defense and very active.

Pulley was more aggressive on the glass and got a number of second chance opportunities that payed off for them.  Big man Daniel Oturu stole the show and had a feast of his own in the paint, securing multiple rebounds and finishing around the likes of Bol Bol.

Fortunately for them, Cal Supreme didn't keep their heads down and they fought throughout the rest of the half to make it respectable.  Point guard Spencer Freedman, high school teammate of Bol Bol, did a good job of getting Cal Supreme good looks, and hitting players in the right spots. He had 5 points by half and a few dimes to go along with Bol Bol's 10 points.  The score would be 37-27 at the half, and Cal Supreme did themselves a favor by bouncing back and regrouping

The beginning of the second half didn't bode well for Cal Supreme, and Tre Jones got right back to work, scoring the first 4 points of the half for either side.  Luckily for them, Cal Supreme kept the fight in them and began to turn up themselves a bit.

Shareef O'Neal hit two threes back to back, and suddenly Cal Supreme's defense became their offense, as they were able to slow Howard Pulley a bit and get some consecutive stops to draw closer. A 21-14 run would leave them within 8 points, and looking to shock the Panthers.

Tre Jones was in his own lane, and his actions spoke volumes.  Upon his return to the game, after a brief breather, he again began to put the ball in the basket with consecutive buckets.  He'd push the lead to 10, and from there Howard Pulley would pull away and stay on top for the remainder of the contest.

In the 76-60 victory, Tre Jones poured in 25 points alone in the second half, and Daniel Oturu finished with 11 in the game to lead the Panthers. Bol Bol finished with 18pts, and Shareef O'Neal had 15pts in the tough loss for Cal Supreme.
