We can't say enough good things about MOKAN Elite. They had their best 17U season in club history in 2016, and they have backed it up in a major way through eight regular season games. Jontay Porter has been exceptional for head coach Chris Neff and company, embracing his new feature role alongside a group of talented role players. Their back court of Israel Barnes, cooper Kaifes, Tylor Perry, Ochai Agbaji have played rock solid basketball thus far, and Kaifes has emerged as one of the best shooters on the circuit. They only go eight deep, but their ability to play as a separates them from most any other team in the country. No squad has ever won back-to-back Peach Jam championships, so MOKAN will have their sights on history.

All Ohio Red is stacked across the board. Behind head coach Matt Sylvester, the defending 16E Champions haven't missed a beat in their jump to 17U, depending on star juniors Foster Loyer, Dane Goodwin, Thomas Kithier, as well as emerging playmakers Vincent Williams and Jordan Mitchell. They play sides of the ball with equal efficiency, and never get too high or low during a 32-minute contest. They have all of the ingredients necessary in order to make a big run, and have put themselves in a tremendous spot to win their division. All Ohio's floor general owns the most eye-popping statistic through eight games; Loyer is currently 59-59 from the line during EYBL play.

Statistically, the PSA Cardinals are the best defensive squad on the circuit (58.8 PPG). We are certain that affiliate makes Munch Williams extremely happy, as the PSA head coach prides each and every one of his squads on a defense-first mentality. As a unit, they get in your grill and don't give you a second to breathe, which allows them fluster their opponents early and often. Their scoring found its stride during the second session behind sophomore point guard Cole Anthony, and he was helped by a plethora of role players that are getting comfortable in their roles. Junior Isaiah Mucius has looked better each time out, so we expect the swingman to have a big second half of the regular season. Their defense makes them a threat in each and every game, and they are a pleasure to watch if you're a fan of gritty, in-your-face basketball.

Once again, Howard Pulley has exceeded expectations, cementing themselves as one of the best programs in the country behind star point guard Tre Jones. The 6-foot-3 budding superstar has been exceptional for head coach Antwan Harris, taking the lead role by the horns. He currently leads the EYBL in assists and is on the short list for most productive overall players on the circuit. Daniel Oturu, Gabe Kalscheur and Jarvis Thomas have all stepped up big time through the first eight games, and if the continue to escalate their production, Pulley will undoubtedly enter July as one of the favorites to taste the trophy of peaches.

Boo takes slight tumble in the rankings after a terrific start on their home turf of Hampton. They turned in a 3-1 showing in Indianapolis, with their one slip up coming against newly-ranked Team CP3. Keldon Johnson put up another extremely productive four game stretchy in Indianapolis, and point guard Zion Harmon showed flashes of brilliance. Boo hasn't played to their full potential just yet, but players like Qudus Wahab, Keyontae Johnson and Aundre Hyatt are only going to get better moving forward. This squad is the complete package, and will be certain competitors in Division C.

E1T1 rolls into Atlanta as one of the hottest teams on the circuit, equipped with seven straight wins after a season-opening loss to Nike Team Florida. Emmitt Williams (First Team All-Indianapolis) is on the short list for regular season Most Valuable Player, as the 6-foot-7 forward already had two 30-20 performances through eight games. Juniors Antwan Jones and Will Richardson form one of the most dynamic offensive starting backcourts in the country, and they should only get better with more floor time. E1T1 looks to have returned to their championship form, and will certainly be in the race for a top overall seed at Peach Jam.

Head coach Dan Quinn and company put together their second straight 3-1 session, riding the hot hand of Bol Bol. The 7-foot-2 forward took home Indianapolis Offensive Player of the Session after averaging just under 30 points per game, while shooting 75 percent from the field. They added Antwan January in session two, beefing up an already stacked rotation. When fully stocked with Bol, Shareef O'Neal, Spencer Freedman and the rest of the rotation, Supreme has as much talent as any grassroots squad in the country. It's Peach Jam Championship or just for this squad, and they look to be on a great track through eight games.

If you underestimated BABC after the first session, shame on you. Head coach Shawn Brown's squad is two razor-close losses away from being undefeated, riding the early-season successes of Cole Swider (Second Team All-Hampton), Jakigh Dottin (Third Team All-Indy) and back-to-back Defensive Player of the Session Dimon Carrigan. Through eight games, Director Leo Papile looks to have one of his most complete teams in the last decade. Their patented pressing defense has proven effective once again, and will be their staple as they prepare to make palpable noise in mid-July.

Team CP3 (NC) enters the rankings as the model of consistency for an EYBL program. Head coach Andy Poplin has taken a reloaded lineup and turned it into a 6-2 start, depending on North Carolina pledge Coby White (Second Team All-Indy) for the majority of their scoring. A talented guard rotation runs alongside White, including John Newman, Will Dillard and fellow Tar Heels pledge Rechon Black - three of the best perimeter defenders on the circuit. They have adequate size with Jaylen Hoard and Jack Hemphill, but it will be imperative moving forward that both stay out of foul trouble. Expect CP3 to contend with Boo Williams and E1T1 for the Division C crown, and for them to make a lot of noise come July.

MeanStreets struggled a bit during the secondsession, unable to match the defensive consistency they put forth in Hampton. Their schedule is too tough not to feature a few hiccups along the way, and behind juniors Tim Finke and Damezi Anderson, MeanStreets should be in fine shape moving forward. Head coach Tyrone Slaughter has quite a few guards at his disposal, and a breakout from one of them will be key to MeanStreets' second half. They've figured out how to cope with their lack of size through eight regular season games, a problem that may rear its ugly head against bigger teams.
