After years of playing in the shadows of his older brother, Tyus, and his good friend Gary Trent Jr, Tre Jones finally had the chance to shine on his own this season for the Panthers. All he did was lead Howard Pulley to a share of its second-straight EYBL regular season title while posting insane numbers. Leading a team mixed with veterans and underclassmen, Jones showed off a much-improved offensive arsenal while proving to be one of the best finishers on the circuit. Tre would be a star no matter who his brother is, and he made a darn good case this spring for best point guard in the 2018 class. The Panthers will be extremely dangerous in July, and Jones is the reason why.

Starting with his very first game in April, Keldon Johnson has been one of the best all-around players in the league, one capable of taking over a game in every aspect imaginable. With a motor that never slows and elite athletic ability, Johnson has been the leader that Boo Williams needed. He has taken that label and run with it, and he is as unselfish as they come. Johnson doesn't need to score a lot for his team to be successful, but he is more than capable of doing so in bunches. Boo Williams returns to the Peach Jam for the first time since 2014, and Johnson's presence makes them legitimate contenders for the crown.

Losing two of the top 20 players in the country is never easy for a program, especially when those two players were co-MVPs of the Peach Jam the year before. Jontay Porter not only helped ease the pain of playing without older brother Michael and Trae Young, for a while, he nearly made people forget about their dominance with some of his own. A double-double waiting to happen, Porter is simply the straw that stirs the drink for MOKAN. His experience from last season will give them a huge boost come July, and while he may reclassify to the 2017 class in August, we are thrilled we get to see Porter compete one last time in the EYBL.

As the beginning of the 2017 EYBL season approached, few had any question as to who the most hyped player was; Marvin Bagley III. How did the young man respond to the pressure? Looking at his averages, it's a quick answer; Bagley was the most dominant player at every stop this year, and although his Phamily struggled in the win column for much of the year, he big man proved that the hype was all justified. Nike granted the Phamily a wildcard berth at the Peach Jam, and we can't wait to see what Bagley does with the second opportunity.

Bol Bol may be the one player in the EYBL who has yet to show his complete skill set, and that fact should strike fear into any opponents Cal Supreme runs into at Peach Jam. The highly-skilled big man, who attends powerhouse Mater Dei, is sure to rise in the rankings after a dominant spring in which he established himself as a perimeter threat, rim protector, and the excellent all-around scorer. More greatness is sure to come from this stud, and a Peach Jam championship is a strong possibility with the squad Bol has around him. Bol gets better every time he steps on the floor, and we can't wait to see what Supreme looks like after a month of practice.
