Trae Young | MOKAN Elite (KS) | Guard

Hampton Statistics (4 games): 25.75 PPG, 6.25 RPG, 8.75 APG, 1.25 SPG

Young came out and absolutely dominated EYBL Brooklyn, earning Offensive Player of the Session and Best Performance. He excelled during session two in Indianapolis, but wasn’t his normal self, Young came back in a HUGE way in Hampton, with some monster stat lines that we have come to expect. The floor general put the red-hot MOKAN Elite club on his back for long stretches throughout the session, saving his best performance (and arguably the best by any player this season) for a victory in which his buddy, Michael Porter, Jr., was not dressed (18 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists in a blowout over Team United.

Gary Trent Jr. | Howard Pulley Panthers (MN)

Hampton Statistics (4 games): 24 PPG, 6.5 RPG, 3.25 APG

Just when you thought you had seen it all from Trent, Jr., the Howard Pulley star goes off for 46 en route to a hard-fought victory over Southern Stampede. One of the nation’s most lethal scorers was unstoppable in Hampton, using an array of dribble moves and stepbacks to create space for his silky-smooth jumper, in addition to being one of Pulley’s primary rebounders. If Pulley can keep its magic season going through the final regular season session, it would be hard to ignore this young man for MVP honors.

Brad Davison | Howard Pulley Panthers (MN)

Hampton Statistics (4 games): 21.75 PPG, 6.25 RPG, 4.75 APG, 1.5 SPG

With one proven star already carrying the team and a roster full of talent, the league’s best team was already in good shape before Davison decided to introduce himself to the world in Hampton - in a big way. The sharpshooting guard was aggressive and efficient throughout the weekend, playing a key role in every one of Pulley’s victories and providing the perfect compliment to Trent’s physical style with his all-around game.. Something says that this is just the beginning of Davison’s huge production across the board.

DeAndre Ayton | California Supreme

Hampton Statistics (4 games): 20 PPG, 10.5 RPG, 4 APG, 2.25 SPG

The first weekend of Ayton’s EYBL career in which he initially struggled a bit to find his footing feels like a distant memory at this point, as the Cali Supreme big man continued to dominate in new, impressive ways in leading his squad to winning three of four. While his scoring and rebounding were top notch as usual, Ayton surprised a bit with his versatility; particularly in the playmaking department in which he dished out a half dozen assists multiple times. If he continues to find teammates for easy looks, that is bad news for the rest of the league.

PJ Washington | Team Penny (TN)

Hampton Statistics (4 games): 19.0 PPG, 11.25 RPG, 2.75 APG, 1.75 SPG

With Team Penny now looking like one of the scariest teams on the entire circuit after an undefeated weekend in Hampton, it should come as no surprise that Washington has become a mainstay on the first team. The powerful guard-forward is a magician with the ball in his hands, showing off an ever-improving set of handles and court vision to put the ball wherever he wants to on the floor. In a league in which it’s easy for stars to play a lot of hero ball in leading their teams to wins, Washington has been the epitome of a team player while maintaining his killer instinct to finish off opponents.
